Jean was a member of the Cathedral Baptist Church in Jonesboro. When Skateland skating rink opened, she was one of the first employees and stayed there until it closed. Everybody knew Mrs. Jean. She had many hobbies including, playing cards, gardening, cooking, and crafts. She was employed as the office manager for Lynn Green's Big Star. Jean was a member of the Red Hat Society, an organization she cherished.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Ford, her parents, and her brothers, Tom Fowler and Don Fowler.
Survivors include her son, Keith Ingram and wife Lisa of Paragould; stepsons, Chuck Ford of Colorado; Michael Ford of California; daughter, Lisa Adams, and husband Rusty of Jonesboro; stepdaughter, Tanja Hicks and husband Rick of Colorado; sister, Rose Kirby and husband, Jim of Cookeville, Tennessee; grandchildren, Brooke (Kyle) Pruett, Madison (Brandon) Byrd, Dean (Jordan) Adams, Weston Adams, Rochelle (Letzer) Alvarado, Elizabeth Hichs, Kai Ford, and Connor Ford; seven great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be 10:00 Thursday, October 20, 2021, at Emerson Memorial Chapel with Ken Beavers officiating and Emerson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Burial will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery with Thomas Fowler, Weston Adams, Brandon Byrd, Rob Hester, Matt Kirby, and Randy Fowler serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers are Dean Adams, Amos Fowler, Kyle Pruett, and Robert Fowler. Visitation will be from 5-7:00 PM on Wednesday night at Emerson Memorial Chapel.
