BRIGHTON — Maxine Clark, 83, of Brighton, passed away at 3:15 a.m. on Monday, Dec. 24, 2018 at home.

She was born on Dec. 25, 1934 in Weed, New Mexico to Floyd and Ruby (Denson) Massey. She married Kenneth Clark on July 22, 1953 in Oceanside, California.

She is survived by her husband; two daughters and son-in-law, Linda and Dennis Sparrow of Highland, California and Annette Carlisle of Godfrey; and two sons, David Clark of Brighton and Daniel Clark of Brownsville, Texas; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; a sister and brother-in-law, Patsy and Bob Johnson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and brother, Jerry and Debbie Massey of Estancia, New Mexico.

She was a US Marine Corporal during the Korean conflict.

She was preceded in death by her parents; one sister, Marilyn "Pete" Massey Adkison; and two brothers, Sonny Massey and David Massey.

Visitation will be 10-11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 28 at Targhetta Funeral Home in Brighton. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 28 at Targhetta Funeral Home in Brighton, with Rev Joyce Anders officiating. Her wishes were to be cremated following services.
