Michael G. "Mike" Fitzpatrick, age 64, of Stanford, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021, in Stanford, Kentucky. Born Saturday, March 30, 1957, in London, Ohio, he was the son of Jo Ann McDaniels Fitzpatrick of Stanford, and the late Kenneth Fitzpatrick. Mike leaves behind his loving wife, Sherrie P. Fitzpatrick of Stanford. Mike loved being "Uncle Mike" and "Poppie" to many. He loved his K9 Companion, "Boots." Mike loved to tell stories, repairing things and liked to hunt, fish and was a true outdoorsman. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran. Mike was a member of the American Legion Post and the Marine Corps League.

In addition to his wife and mother, Mike leaves behind three daughters, Julie Pelstring (Ben) of Lexington, Kentucky, Sara Fitzpatrick (Colleen) of Shelbyville, Kentucky, and Katie Fath (Chris) of Cincinnati, Ohio; two step-sons, Berek Bodner (Ashley) of Stanford, and Rob Bodner (Joni) of Hustonville, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren, Delaney Pelstring, Riley Bodner, Alayna Bodner, Mia Bodner, Emma Vaught, Andrea Vaught and Hannah Vaught; two brothers, Mark Fitzpatrick (Gwen) and Mitch Fitzpatrick (Anita) both of Stanford; two sisters, Micki Beach (Dale) of Dry Ridge, Kentucky and Marti Brown (Mike) of Ottenheim, Kentucky; and several nieces, nephews and other extended family.

A Public Visitation will be held 5-8PM Monday, October 18, 2021, at Fox & Friend Funeral Home.

A Public Funeral Service will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at the funeral home with Phil Schreyer officiating. Burial with Full Military Honors will be at Buffalo Springs Cemetery. Tim Fitzpatrick, Todd Fitzpatrick, Adam Fitzpatrick, Ethan Barnes, Mike Barnes, Chris Fath, Mike Brown, and Dale Beach will serve as Active Pallbearers. Dr. Shea Lair, Buddy Pence, Brad Lawless, JT Washington and Dan Hatchett will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
