Joseph Lee, 89, Johnstown, died on Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Born January 20, 1932, son of Joseph and Ruth (Gibson) Lee. Preceded in death by parents and wife Margaret (Lengyel). Married Margaret on September 22, 1956. Survived by sons: Mark J. and wife Susan (Tay), Jeffrey A. and wife Alison (Walker), and Douglas M. Also survived by granddaughters Nicole (Marc) Houck and Shannon (Tim) Ripple and great-granddaughter, Margo Houck. A U.S. Marine Drill Instructor who served during the Korean War. A life member of the V.F.W. Retired from the Bethlehem Steel power house and electrical department. Retired as the Supervisor over maintenance at the Richland Manor. A manager for the Arbutus Baseball Little league for 15 years. An avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and being outdoors. A duck pin bowler for over 60 years. Proudest achievement was his family whom he loved dearly. Special friend to Kathleen Paige and his beloved dog, Patty. Friends will be received Tuesday from 11am until time of service at noon at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford Street Johnstown, PA, with Pastor Adam Dotts officiating .Interment will be held at the Richland Cemetery, where military rite will be conducted by Chas Menoher Post 155 VFW Ritual Team. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions to the Cambria County Humane Society.
