Alvin Jeron Thornton, Jr. was born in Jackson, MS; on November 11, 1992, to Alvin Thornton and Coella Jackson.

Alvin had two brothers, Alveon Thornton and Alven Jamaal Clayborn, and five sisters, Alyssa Thornton, Alexus Clayborn, Johnetta Dean-Vance, Latrina McGee, Anita Palmer, and a host of aunts and uncles, friends, and other relatives.

Some of his most special friends were Curtis Smith and Parish Spivey. His special cousins were Chubby Malcolm, Keshia, Josie, and Christopher.

Alvin grew up attending the meetings at The Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He attended Leake Central High School and graduated in 2013. He worked at O'Reilly Auto Parts until he became disabled.

Alvin had a giving heart. He would always help his friends with anything no matter what time of day or night. Alvin will truly be missed by many.
