James "Jimmy" Collier, 75, of Charlottesville, passed at home with his family under the care of Hospice on October 11, 2021.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Jane M. Collier; two children, his son, Tony Collier and his wife, Christy; his daughter, Holly Collier and her husband, Shawn Trainum; as well as three grandchildren, Taylor Collier and her fiancé, Ryan Snoddy, Glen Allen Belew Jr. and his wife, Taylor, and Jimmy Belew; great-grandson, Paxton Belew; and his sister, Brenda Shifflett and husband, Graham. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Gladys Collier, and brother, Lawrence Settle

Special thanks to lifelong friend, Roger Gianniny ; friend and partner, Billy Marshall; special friends, Roy Pippin, Elmo Londeree, and Steve Baird, and so many others, including his beloved dog, Mac.
