Brandon Haynes, devoted son, brother, and friend to all was called home on October 8, 2021. Around 6:30 p.m. on the 8th, police believe that 37-year-old Brandon Wayne Haynes was attempting to cross main travel lanes from a median when he was struck by an eastbound Buick. Haynes sadly suffered fatal injuries at the scene.

He was born in Pampa, Tx and grew up in Pottsboro, Tx where he enjoyed sitting on the front porch with grandma and fishing with grandpa. He was his mother's only son and once helped her to catch a crawdad the size of a lobster at the age of 6. As an adult, he loved to spend time at the lake fishing and working on engines of all sizes. He enjoyed rooting for the Dallas Cowboys alongside his dad, Bobby. He was known for his good heart and for making people laugh.

Brandon was a very proud uncle to all of his nieces and nephews that knew him as Uncle Bub. Brandon will be incredibly missed by his surviving family including his parents, Ann Haynes and Robert Brines; his older brother Jason Brines, and four sisters: Amanda Haynes, Malinda Haynes, Starla Dutton, and Shila Haynes; four nephews: Dalton Dominy, Landon Dominy, Andrew Allen, and Tristan McGee; six nieces: Adreanna Mueller, Brandy Mueller, Kassidy Allen, Jocelyn Dominy, Hailey Watson, and Miley Clark.

Memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 at American Funeral Service Chapel in Denison. A graveside service will be held on Friday, October 15, 2021, at 3:00 P.M. at Locust Cemetery, Pottsboro, TX.
