Edith Christine Williams, 83, passed away at Nova Health Care in Weber City, Virginia on October 13, 2021, following a lengthy illness. Christine was born on October 01 1938 to Sturm and Lilly Carroll in Appalachia Virginia.

She attended Appalachia High School and Clinch Valley College. Chris later married and moved to Northern Virginia and then to North Carolina where she worked in accounting and at Miller and Rhodes.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Georgia Rutherford; brothers, Andy Carroll, Warren Carroll, JR Carroll and Delano Carroll

She was a Christian and enjoyed attending church, reading books and spending time with her family and friends.

She is survived by several nieces and nephews: Linda Bullock (Chuck), John Rutherford (Brenda), Ann Austin (Doug), Betty Snodgrass (Bruce), Marie Vandergriff (ED), Linda Marsh. Chris will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved her.

Private burial will be in the American Legion Cemetery.
