Mr. Roger Dale Estes, age 68 of Winfield passed away Saturday, October 16, 2021 at his residence surrounded by his family. He was the owner/operator of Estes Electric, Inc. for 37 years.
Roger is survived by his wife of 50 years, Charlene Orsborn Estes, his daughters, Jenifer Estes Harbison (Matthew), Tiffany Estes Mills (Leon), grandchildren, Elliott Keith Overton, Cameron Dale Harbison, Claire Elizabeth Overton, son-in-law, Keith Overton, sisters, Linda Newman and Donna Smith (James), brothers, Larry Estes, Tim Estes (Sandy), Richard Estes, Charlie Kilgore (Sharon), a host of nieces, nephews and other family and close friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Icie Banks Estes Kilgore.
Funeral services for Roger will be held on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 at 5:30 p.m. from the Bowen Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow in the West Alabama Memorial Gardens in Gu-Win. Brother Bobby Barnes will be the officiating minister. The visitation will be held on Tuesday from 3:00 p.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
