Michael John Parker, age 63, of Fairfield, Iowa, passed October 14, 2021, at University of Iowa Hospital & Clinic, Iowa City, Iowa.

Michael was born May 31, 1958, in Fairfield to Wilson Monroe and Madeline Maxine (Turner) Parker.

He married Carolyn Craig on February 10, 1979 and later divorced.

On December 8, 2005, he married Catrina Glosser and later divorced.

Michael worked at the Walmart Store in Fairfield. He enjoyed bowling and watching the game show Jeopardy, football and baseball. Michael's favorite teams were the Minnesota Vikings and Baltimore Orioles. He also collected hats. Most important was spending time with his family and friends.

Michael will be missed by his children, Joseph (Maria) Parker, Clint (Courtney) Parker and Jennifer (Derek) Scearcy all of Fairfield, Craig Parker, Ethan Parker and McKenzie Parker all of Batavia; 10 grandchildren, Joseph, Jonathan, Joshua, Jesse, Colin, Colette, Cooper, Max and Ryker; two siblings, Ed (Karen) Parker and Debi (Doug) Ayer both of Fairfield.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Wilson and Maxine; two sisters, Patty and Judy; and granddaughter, Alexandria.

Visitation for family & friends will be 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m., Thursday, October 21, 2021, at Behner Funeral Home.

Funeral service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, October 22, 2021, at Suburban Heights Baptist Church with Pastor Ed Parker officiating.

Cremation to follow service. Inurnment at a later date.
