He was born on February 1, 1954 to J.B. & Hazel Hendrix in Hot Springs, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, JR Hendrix.
Survivors include his loving wife of 46 years, Pat; three children; Jessie (Wade) Johnson, Joshua Hendrix, Jake (Krysta) Hendrix; seven grandchildren, Kayley, D.J. (Vanessa) Neighbors, Abby, Hannah, Haddon, Liam, Lily Hendrix; two great grandchildren, Noah & Blakelee Neighbors; three siblings, Donnie (Lisa) Hendrix, Linda (Carroll) Ross, Gene (Joyce) Hendrix; four brother-in-law's, Roy (Cindy) Cone, Bill Cone, John (Kathy) Cone, Jack (Wendy) Cone and many nieces & nephews.
Ricky was an avid outdoorsman with a passion for conservation. He worked in the log woods for years until becoming an animal control officer, which he loved. Most of all, he loved the Lord and his family fiercely
