Helen M. Ford-Cook, 78 of Ventnor New Jersey passed away peacefully on Monday night October11,2021, surrounded by family.

Helen was born March 27, 1943 in Atlantic City. She enjoyed spending time with her family and gathering with close friends. Helen also enjoyed her home where she created loving memories. She had a passion for cooking and baking and was known for her spaghetti and crabs along with her meatballs, Christmas cookies and pizzelles. She enjoyed decorating and gathering for the holidays especially her favorite holiday, Halloween.

Helen is survived by daughter Cathleen Sanderlin who had the joy of residing with Helen for 9 years; daughter Samantha Sarkos and her spouse Peter Sarkos; daughter Joie Jones (Mandy) and her spouse DeJuan Jones; and her son George Sanderlin and his spouse Denise Sanderlin; her children's father Joseph Cook; her grandchildren Emily Humphreys, Elenie Sarkos, Sofia Sarkos, Jayda Smith, Kaia Jones, Kennedy Jones, Ian Sanderlin and Devan Jones; and great grandson Paxton Jones. She is also survived by 2 nephews Robert Stoner, Richard Stoner and his spouse Laurie Stoner as well as all the many wonderful friends and extended family she has made throughout the years.

We all lost a beautiful woman to cancer but gained a magnificent angel and her love will always remain in Our hearts. Rest easy Mom

A Mass of Christian Burial will be Celebrated for Helen Ford-Cook at 12:00 noon of Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Our Lady Star of the Sea Church 2651 Atlantic Avenue, Atlantic City. Relatives and friends may call at the Church from 11:00am. The Rite of Committal will be offered at Holy Cross Cemetery, Route 40 in Mays Landing, following Mass. Arrangements by the Gormley Funeral Home LLC/AC
