Stanley W. Jones, 82, of Keokuk, IA, died Monday, August 16, 2021 at the Montrose Health Center in Montrose, IA.

He was born on September 15, 1938 in Keokuk, IA, the son of Issac "Ike" and Ethel Thompson Jones. On September 12, 1959, Stanley was united in marriage to Sandra Bullard. She preceded him in death on June 26, 2019.

Stanley was a veteran of the United States Air Force.

He had been employed at Midwest Carbide and Keokuk Park Apartments.

Stanley loved going to car shows. He enjoyed working in his yard and mowing the grass. Stanley was a skilled woodworker and especially enjoyed making yard ornaments.

He is survived by one daughter, Stephanie Jones (Jim Gillenwater) of Keokuk, three grandchildren, Steve Carr of Ft. Madison, Tiffanie Manley of Keokuk and Cole Gillenwater of Keokuk, five great-grandchildren, Hunter Vanderpool, Quintin Vanderpool, Cassanova Manley, Niamonnie Manley and Marc-Anthony Manley. He is also survived by one sister-in-law, Norma Jones of Keokuk and numerous nieces and nephews including Cherie Wilsey (Jim) of Keokuk.

Besides his wife, he was also preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Sonia Jones and several brothers and sisters.
