Claire was born on May 30, 1923 in New Brunswick, Canada, a daughter of the late Fortunat and Estelle (Baker) Saucier. Claire retired after working many years at Scovill Manufacturing, U.S. Rubber and Benrus. Claire enjoyed taking care of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, cleaning and family.
Claire is survived by her daughters, Lillian Johnson, Eleanor Johnson, Beatrice Johnson, Maryellen Cuatt, Theresa Johnson and Barbara Johnson; her son, John W. Johnson III "Tiger Bill;" her 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; her sisters, Rita LeBrun, Theresa Dotson and Gladys Saucier, and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband and her parents, Claire was predeceased by her four brothers and one sister.
