Juanita Elizabeth "Libby" Gray, 82, passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2021, at the Carrington Nursing Home in Starkville, Mississippi. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 19 at Nowell-Massey Funeral Home in Louisville, Mississippi. Graveside services and interment will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 20 at Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Thad Moore officiating.

Libby was born October 23, 1938, to Henry and Cornelia Thrailkill Wicker in Louisiana. She was a member of the Presbyterian faith and was a graduate of East Mississippi Junior College. Libby married her college sweetheart; she was a dedicated mother and homemaker who dearly loved her family. Libby was an avid reader and, as an artist, she enjoyed painting pictures and collecting antiques.

Libby is survived by two sons, Michael David Gray and wife, Allison of Sturgis, Mississippi, and Kenneth Neal Gray and partner Keith Salter of Cordova, Tennessee. She is also survived by her sister, Pat Wicker McWhirter and husband, Robert of Louisville and her brother, Charles Wicker of Jackson, Mississippi.

Libby was preceded in death by her husband, John P. Gray, her daughter-in-law, Karen Gray, her parents, and her sister-in-law, Janet Wicker.
