Nellie Faye Wilson, 82, of Ash, North Carolina, died October 13, 2021. Born in Brunswick County on February 27, 1939, she was a daughter of the late William Fitzhugh Lovett and Carrie Holden Lovett. She was the last of eight siblings. In addition to her parents and siblings, she was predeceased by a son, Michael "Mike" Wilson and her husband, Carl Edgar Wilson.
She was a retired farmer and a long time active member of Longwood Baptist Church. She was a person the community went to when the need arose.
Surviving are her sons, Muriel Wilson (Sandra) and Donald Wilson (Cassie) of Ash; grandchildren, Kippy Wilson, Jeremy Wilson, Josh Wilson, and Amanda Dawn Enzor; great grandchildren, River Wilson, Alexis Enzor, Braxton Enzor, Katie Wilson, Sara Wilson and Destiny Wilson; and several nieces and nephews that she loved like her own.
Funeral Services will be conducted Sunday, October 17, 2021 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Brunswick Funeral Service, Shallotte Chapel, by The Rev. Kenny Todd. Burial will follow in the Carl E. Wilson Family Cemetery.
