On 1 Feb 2015 Michelle Doss provided the following information on the Stephen Spiars Family:

The Spiars family donated land for the Macedonia Cemetary.

Stephen and Naomi Spiars are seated with their children standing. Photo is circa 1902. Tallest man with mustache was Jim Spiars, a cattle trader.

Enlisted for the duration of the war on 27 Mar 1862 in Trinity County, TX; age 23

They were early pioneers in Williamson Co, TX. His Homestead Certificate is dated July 30, 1876.
