Keith was born November 4, 1967, in Lorain. He was a graduate of Western Reserve High School and attended Kent State University. Keith had made his home in Plano, Texas, for many years.
Keith served in the Ohio National Guard. He was employed as an Insurance Consultant for Independent Insurance Companies. Keith was previously employed at Ford Motor Company in Avon for ten years before moving to Plano. His hobbies included golfing and cooking for his children. His greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Survivors include his sons, Kyle and Daniel Dixon; his daughter, Samantha Dixon all of Plano, Texas; his father, Thomas Dixon of Collins, Ohio; and his brother, Brian T. Dixon (Melissa) of Lawrenceburg, Ky.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Sherri Grandy, in 2014; his mother, Carol Sue Dixon (nee: Gandee).
Friends may call Wednesday, May 20, 2015, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Hempel Funeral Home, 373 Cleveland Ave., Amherst.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home. The Rev. Farrell Keith, pastor of Old Fashioned Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial will follow at Hartland Ridge Cemetery, Hartland, Ohio.
