Jacqueline Riley


Jacqueline Riley was born to the union of the late John Allen Riley and Georgia on June 17, 1953, in McAdams, MS.


Her long life journey ended on Tuesday, September 14, 2021, at her daughter Marketa's home.


Jackie accepted Christ at an early age at St. John M. B. Church in McAdams, MS; and was a faithful member until her health failed.


Jackie attended Long Creek Elementary School and McAdams High School where she graduated in 1971.


She was a truck driver for 10 years and a machine operator for 30-plus years until she retired.


Her love and passion were spending time with her daughters and family, helping others, as well as, 'Keeping it Real". Most of all she loved learning and depending on Christ.


She was preceded in death by her father, John Allen Riley, and mother, Georgia Riley; a granddaughter, Ja'Leah; a grandson, Ah'Zavion Riley; Baby Harmon; her grandparents; an adoptive son, Kerry Perteet; four brothers, Samuel Allen, James Franklin, Johnnie Howard, and Kelvin Riley, Sr.; four sisters, Lula Wae Talley, Audrey Riley, Magnolia Perteet, and Lena Alston; two nieces, Nedra Riley, and Leah Riley; nephew, Adrian Riley; Godmother, Mattie Barron; and God-daughter, Deajh Perteet.


She leaves to cherish two loving daughters, Raven Nash of Kosciusko, MS; and Marketa (Bryan) Harmon of Sallis, MS; a finance'; Adolph Carter; four God-daughters, Naja Mays of Kosciusko, MS; Kaliyah Wallace of Nashville, TN; Audrey (Michael) Lee of Carthage, MS; Gladys Perteet-Cotton of Kosciusko, MS; three God-sons, Jonathan (Tereasa) Williams of Kosciusko, MS; James (Pam) Perteet of Maryland, VA; Frederick Perteet of Kosciusko, MS; four God-grandsons, Lyntez and Lyntavious Merrit of Kosciusko, MS; Da'Kylan Winters of Kosciusko, MS; Brycen Alston of Kosciusko, MS; two sisters, Doris (Joe) Winters and Mola Simmons both of Kosciusko, MS; one sister-in-law, Clara Riley; one brother-in-law, Lamar Talley of Kosciusko, MS; and a host of nieces and nephews. A good friend, Essie Parham, relatives, and other friends who loved her dearly.



VISITATION: Saturday, Sep 18, 2021, from 9:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. and

on Sunday, Sep 19, 2021, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

DATE OF SERVICE: Sunday, Sep 19, 2021, at 1:00 p.m.

PLACE OF SERVICE: Myricks Funeral Home Chapel, Kosciusko, MS.

INTERMENT: Parkway Cemetery, Kosciusko, MS.
