SALINA - Dorothy F. "Dodie" Fisher, 78, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2021. She was born May 28, 1943 in Corning, KS to Melvin and Ellen (Reber) White.

She started school in Vermillion, KS and graduated from Glen Elder High School in 1961.

Dodie worked for the State of Kansas, Beechcraft, and Walmart but the job she enjoyed the most was being a certified medication aid at nursing homes. Dodie loved tending to her flower garden, camping, and watching and cheering at the kids sporting events.

Dodie was preceded by her parents; and brothers, Charles and Bernie.

She is survived by her husband Don Fisher of Salina; step-son, Darin Fisher of Aurora, CO; step-granddaughter, Brianna Fisher of Springfield, MO; step-grandson Devin Sprecker (Kendall) of St. Louis; brother, Ralph White (Judy) of Salina, Paul White (Carol) of Salina; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Ryan Mortuary. Inurnment will follow in Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Brookville, KS.
