Daniel T. Brown, age 78, of Centereach, New York passed away on October 16, 2021. Daniel was born November 10, 1942 in Queens, NY to the late Harry and Mary Brown.
Daniel was a lifelong member of the Centereach Fire Department. In his 50 + years of service, Daniel was former Chief of the department for 7 years also serving as Lieutenant, Captain and Commissioner throughout his tenure. Daniel was actively involved with the Fire Police, serving as Deputy Fire Chief of Suffolk County and the Suffolk County Board of Fire Commissioners.
Beloved husband of Barbara Brown (née Bruer). Loving father of Daniel T. Brown Jr. and his wife Donna and Andrew Brown and his wife Jocelyn. Proud grandpa of Daniel, Nicole, Kayla, Courtney and Corey.
A visitation for Daniel will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2021 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at O.B. Davis Funeral Homes, 2326 Middle Country Road, Centereach, NY 11720.
