Erica Ann Johnson, age 38, born July 28, 1983, to her loving parents, Kit and Burt Johnson. Erica was the beloved mother to her son, Kaden, and longtime loving partner, Joshua. She leaves behind her dear sister, Amber, along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins. One of many grandchildren to Gordon and Roberta Thomson and Charles and Norma Johnson.
For those close to Erica since childhood, she was a warm, kind, caring, and full of life person that would do anything for her friends and family. She had beautiful strawberry blonde hair, a beautiful smile, was a competitive figure skater since a young age, and was on the high school dance team.
In her early years, Erica grew up with her big sister, Amber, along with many friends on the block. Laughing, playing, swimming, and running could be heard until all were called home for dinner.
During high school, Erica was a quick study and had many friends. Throughout the years, she always held on to that strong memory bond to her childhood friends, her first love and her son.
Erica went on to pursue an associate degree and worked toward becoming a respiratory therapist. She worked as a paraprofessional assisting developmentally disabled children and would come home from work filled with joy knowing she helped others in sustaining a better life through her supportive care.
Outside of work, Erica was blessed with a bright son, Kaden, whom she loved dearly and would go to the ends of the earth for him. Even in death, there is no doubt she will be by Kaden's side to guide him through life's challenges.
Erica loved her family and friends and was full of memories. We love you so much Erica and will miss you every day. May the angels and our families greet you in heaven with all the same love you gave to everyone here on earth.
