Kathy "Duck" Anderson Holt, 69, passed away Thursday, October 14, 2021.

A celebration of her life will be held 2 pm Thursday, October 21, 2021 at the First Baptist Church in Panhandle.

Kathy was born February 27, 1952 in Dimmitt, Texas to Bazil Anderson and Katherine Scheller Anderson. She married the love of her life Leonard Holt on June 9, 1970 in Panhandle. Kathy had a strong Christian faith, and did her best to show as many people as she could the Jesus that she loved so dearly. She truly had a servant's heart, serving her fellow man, always making sure folks had food to eat and tea in their fridge. Kathy was full of grace and kindness who just loved people. An avid reader, she also enjoyed flower gardening, sewing, baking, cooking. In fact she used to cater various events for people. She was an extremely creative person and liked to paint, draw and even did some woodworking.

She is preceded in death by her parents; Bazil and Katherine Anderson.

Survivors include her husband, Leonard of Panhandle; sons, Dugan Holt and wife Shelby of Fort Worth, Jonathan Holt and wife Valarie of Bushland; daughters, Kathryn Sims and husband Clay of Panhandle; Sarah Rash and husband Jeff of White Deer; grandchildren, Dugan Holt II, Regan Holt, Morgan Holt, Hannah Holt, Madison Holt, Joshua Brown and wife Carliegh, Cole Sims and wife Sarah, Jacey Nixon and husband Alex, Mariah Mooney and husband Logan,Tye Chaney, Teyah Whatley, Joseph Rash, Eli Rash; great grandchildren, Emryn, Zechariah, Adaline, Katie due to arrive December 2nd, Prudence due to arrive February 1st, Vance; brothers, Mike Anderson and wife Diane of Dallas, Malcom Anderson and wife Connie of Fort Cobb, Oklahoma; sisters, LaQuita Labus and husband Stewart of Amarillo, Cindi Platt and husband Johnny of Pampa, Rebecca Rusk and husband Scott of Panhandle; numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
