Jason Smith, age 41, of Forest City, passed away Wednesday, October 13, 2021. Jason was born Wednesday, October 17, 1979 in Vero Beach, Florida. He was a graduate of Sebastian High School, class of 1999. Jason was a self-employed auto mechanic and an automotive enthusiast. Greater than his passion for cars, was his dedication as a dad to his two sons. His "happy go lucky" attitude endeared him to many, and he touched many lives. His memory will be forever in the hearts of those who loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Trentin Smith and Auston Smith both of Rutherfordton; parents, Tim and Stephanie Smith of Decaturville, Tennessee; brother, Tim Smith II (Lauren) of Decaturville, TN; sister, Christie Gerber (Bucky) of Tennessee; two nieces, Mika Blanco, Cheyenne Gerber and a host of extended family and friends.

A public gathering of family and friends will be conducted at Harrelson Funeral Home and will be announced by the first of the week. A private celebration of Jason's life will be hosted by the family.
