Born in New York, NY to the late Edward S. and Irene K. (nee Kempf) Morrison, she has resided in Spring Lake Heights since 1983 coming from Spring Lake.
She was a Parishioner of St. Uriel the Archangel Church, Sea Girt and was very active in her community. She was a member of the Spring Lake Historical Society, the Spring Lake Theater Group, the Fairway Mews Golf Club, and had volunteered for Meals on Wheels.
She had been employed as an advertising executive with Young & Rubicam, NY, NY for over 25 years.
Surviving are her nephews and nieces; Stewart Morrison and spouse Sandy of Stratford, CT, Jane Morrison of Northampton, MA, Robert Morrison of Chilmark, MA, Emily Bass and spouse Mark of Silver Lake, NH, and Katie Morrison and partner Ken Walsh of Portsmouth, NH and three great nephews Ben, Luke, and Ross.
Barbara had a fantastic sense of humor, was a lover of travel and spending time with her many lifelong friends. She was devoted to her nieces and nephews, providing a steadfast and loving presence and some of the best memories of their lives.
Visitation will be on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 9:30-11:00 AM at the O'Brien Funeral Home, 2028 Hwy 35 at New Bedford Rd., Wall, NJ. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Brielle, NJ.
