Norma Jean Sullivan, 74, of McAlester passed away on Wednesday, October 13, 2021 in Tulsa.

The family will greet friends from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 17, 2021 the Bishop Chapel of Memories.

A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 18, 2021 at Bishop Chapel of Memories with Reverend Chip Lott officiating. Burial will follow at Tannehill Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Donald Tannehill, Dominic Nabors, Drake Nabors, Mark Tannehill, Michael Rainford, and David Smith.

Honorary pallbearers will be Roger Sims and Eric Hendricks.

Norma Jean was born on April 6, 1947 to Edgar Preston Tannehill and Grace (Smith) Tannehill in McAlester.

Norma Jean enjoyed traveling with Dale and camping, fishing, jet skiing, motorcycling, gardening, and crafting. She was so full of life and always on the go. Norma Jean worked as a private caregiver and was loved by all of her client-families.

Norma Jean is preceded in death her husband: Calvin Sullivan; her parents: Edgar and Grace Tannehill; her granddaughter: Megan Letourneau; siblings: Helen Tannehill Roth, James Tannehill, Carl Tannehill, and Joe Tannehill; brother-in-law: Wayne Greer; and sisters-in-law: Bernice Tannehill and Joann Tannehill.

She is survived by her life-partner: Dale Blankenship of the home; her son: Paul Letourneau of McAlester; stepchildren: Dale Blankenship, Jr. of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Curtis Blankenship of Scranton, Pennsylvania, Venus Hendricks of McAlester, Danny Letourneau of Epping, New Hampshire, and Maria Letourneau of McAlester; her grandchildren: Whitney Letourneau of Wilburton and Amber Avila of McAlester; her great-grandchildren: Dylan, Hayden, Kinsey, Maddilynn, Abel, Mya, and Bailey; her twin brother: Norman Dean Tannehill and wife, Joan of McAlester; her siblings: Vernon Dale Tannehill of McAlester, Vera Gale Greer of McAlester, Edwin Tannehill of Hoxie, Arkansas; special friends: Charles and Charlotte Wilson of McAlester; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
