Rebecca Newlin Robinson passed on October 13, 2021. She was born on May 17, 1944 in Springfield, Tennessee. She and her family lived in Robinson, Illinois before moving to Pasadena, Texas in 1948. She graduated from Pasadena High School in 1962. She started working at the tax accessor's office on January 19, 1976. She held numerous positions such as window clerk, cashier, lead clerk and supervisor before retiring on January 20, 2006.

Besides working, she had made time to be an active member of the Eastern Star-South Houston Chapter and St. Pius Catholic Church. Some of her hobbies included gardening, crafting, antiquing, sewing, playing Bunco with her friends, and long chats on the telephone with her dearest family and friends.

Becky will always be remembered for her unconditional love for her children, loyalty and selfless acts to all those who crossed her path. Her smile and words of wisdom will be missed by her family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Elias Newlin, her mother and daddy, Velma and Bishop Moores, and her daughter, Tonya Jean Robinson. Rebecca is survived by her daughter, Rhonda Howell, son Stanley Howell (Paul), daughter, Courtney Robinson (Robert) brother Tommy Newlin (Joyce), and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
