George M. Goodrich, age 79, of Columbus, NJ, formerly of Bordentown, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at home surrounded by his loving family.

George was born in Elizabeth, NJ, and raised in South Plainfield, NJ, living most of his life in Bordentown before moving to Columbus in 2019.

George proudly served in the US Army from 1963-1966 and spent most of his professional career as the Vice President and Partner of Waite's General Contractor in Columbus, NJ.

George was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Bordentown, where he established and ran the 'Singles Dinner' feeding local singles for many years. When not spending time with his family, George's passion was cooking. He compiled an extensive library of recipes and loved sharing his newest creation with his family at their Sunday dinners. George loved spending time with family, as well as his trusted dog Chloe.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Marty Goodrich, his son and daughter-in-law Chris and Kelly Goodrich, and granddaughters Abigail and Emma Goodrich. He will be greatly missed by his entire family.

Committal Services and Military honors will be held 11:00 AM on Tuesday, October 26th, 2021 at Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 350 Province Line Rd., N. Hanover Township, NJ. A funeral procession will leave Huber-Moore Funeral Home, 517 Farnsworth Ave, Bordentown, NJ at 10:15 AM.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the First Baptist Church of Bordentown Memorial Fund.

Arrangements are under the care and direction of Huber-Moore Funeral Home, Bordentown, NJ.
