Barbara Ann Sanders, 92, passed away peacefully in the early morning of Sunday, October 10, 2021. Barbara was born to the late Martha and William Scott in Lexington on August 17, 1929.



Barbara was a long-time employee of St. Joseph Hospital in Lexington.



Left to cherish her memory are her children, Terri (Steve) Cecil and Gary (Karen) Lindsey; grandchildren, Justin (Katie) Cecil, Kelsey (Brooks) Richardson, Sean (Kim) Lindsey, and Lauren (Ryan) Settles, and great-grandchildren, Allison Cecil, Connor Cecil, and Alex McDonald and sisters Shirley Gail Duncan of Farmville, VA and Leslie Kay Treber of St. Augustine, FL. Her husband, Jim Bob Sanders preceded Barbara in death.



Visitation for Mrs. Sanders will be held Friday, October 15th at Milward - Southland located at 391 Southland Drive, 10:30 am - 11:30 am with service beginning at 11:30 am. Interment will follow in Camp Nelson National Cemetery at 1:30 pm where Barbara will be laid to rest with her husband.
