He is survived by his nieces Deborah Eglich, Cindy Beltran and Sandra Davis.

Interment with military honors will be held at Missouri Veteran's Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested in his memory to the Padre Pio Foundation, 463 Main Street, Cromwell, Ct., 06416 or Redemptorist Catholic Church, Kansas City, Missouri.

"As for me, I am already being poured out as a libation, and the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. From now on the crown of righteousness awaits me…" Timothy 4:6-7
