Married Margaret Calhoun Fletcher, daughter of General Thomas Fletcher who served on the staff of Gen William Henry Harrison; and a grand daughter of Count de Fletcher, who came to America with Marquis de LaFayette, entered the Continental Army as a private, and rose to the rank of Captain.
