Rich Hoffman was born in Cincinnati and grew to manhood in Norwood, Ohio. Rich attended the Norwood Public Schools and was a dedicated student and athlete. In High School he played team sports including football and baseball. After graduation, Rich attended Eastern Kentucky University and later Xavier University studying accounting and business. He met the love of his life Sylvia in High School and they eventually married and were a couple until his passing. After leaving college Rich worked for a number of different companies including Cincinnati Bell in the accounting and bookkeeping fields. Rich loved animals including his beloved dogs and cats. Rich was a devoted husband, son, brother and brother-in-law and was loved dearly by his family and is sorely missed.
