Section: Obituaries

Our dear sweet Mom, Grandma and Great-Grandma went to be with Jesus on Monday, September 6, 2021. Dorothy Kaye (Kay) was born on August 27, 1941, to Thea and Oma Dill. She joined a sister, Dixie.

Mom attended Fort Scott Christian Heights in Fort Scott, Kansas. It was there she met the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Hartley Reynolds. After graduation they married on June 28, 1959. They started a family beginning with a daughter. Next came a bouncing baby boy. Unexpectedly, they welcomed a set of twins, and finished off the group with another boy.

Mom not only worked while we were growing up, she also stood by Dad as he worked in the Ministry. She was the pianist in most if not all of the churches Dad pastored. She loved the Lord and was faithful to the end in serving Him. Her prayer was to see "all" of her loved ones in Heaven!

Mom was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Bob, son Galen, her parents Thea and Oma Dill, Stepmom Adia Dill, sister Dixie, Mother-in-law and Father-in-law, Ralph and Gladys Reynolds, a sister-in-law, Carolyn Strunk and a number of grand babies and great-grand babies. What a reunion!

Mom was laid to rest on Friday, September 17, 2021, at Woodlawn Cemetery.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, October 30, 2021, at 1:00 PM at Valley Church in Nooksack, WA. Pastor Kyle Hopkins will be officiating.

On a final note, I know Mom would want me to tell each of you that Jesus loves you so very much and she wants to see all of you in Heaven one day!
