A viewing will be 10-11 a.m. Monday at John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. 902 Mt. Rose Ave. The funeral service will begin at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Deacon David Domanski, OFM Cap officiating. Private burial will be in Mt. Rose Cemetery.
Mrs. Mitchell was born September 30, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio, a daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Mayherofer) Fitzpatrick, and sister of late Charles Fitzpatrick. She was a member of St. Mary's Church and had been employed at York Dress Sewing Factory and at York Catholic High School Cafeteria.
Elizabeth is survived by her children Mary Boyer and her late husband David Boyer of Charlotte, NC, Deborah A. Watson and her husband Bob Watson of The Villages, FL, Donna Sampere and her husband Michael Sampere of Waterloo SC, William C. Mitchell and his late wife Ruth Mitchell of Rancho Cucamonga, CA; 8 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and loving extended family.
