Martha "Sue" Reed passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Midland. She was born October 29, 1946 to Jewel "Elvan" and Eudoxia "Dot" Reed in Jacksonville, Texas. Martha grew up in Odessa, TX and attended local schools and graduated from Odessa High School in 1965. Martha worked as a bookkeeper with Canopy and Honda Kawasaki in Midland, TX for many years. She will always be remembered as a caring, supportive, and a devoted sister and aunt by her brother, nieces, and nephews. She is survived by her brother, Andrew Reed and his wife Jan of Midland, TX; her niece Marianne Gilles and her husband Danny of Spring, TX and Great nephews Reed and Ryder; and her nephews Andrew R. Reed and his wife Michelle of Katy, TX and Great nephews Fischer and Cole and Great niece Emma; Robert Reed and his wife Christy of Fulshear, TX and Great nieces Carter, Brooklyn, and Blake; and her dear friend and life partner Jerry Butler of Goldsmith. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 16, 2021 at Ellis Funeral Home from 5:30 to 7:30 P.M. Arrangements in Midland are under the direction of Ellis Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 18, 2021 at Earle's Chapel Cemetery in Jacksonville, Texas. In lieu of flowers, all donations please send to SPCA. Martha was an avid animal friend.
