Dean is survived by a sister Glenna Stephens Clark of Sandy Hook, KY; a brother J.T. Stephens & wife Karen of Grayson, KY; Uncle Dean Eldridge & wife Virginia of Muncie Indiana; nephew Tracy Stephens; niece Kara Dobson; six great nephews; one great niece and one great great nephew.
Dean was saved Nov. 24, 2019 and attended Concord Baptist Church where he enjoyed fellowship and especially the banjo picking by Ricky and singing.
He was a construction worker and belonged to Local 520.
Dean enjoyed motorcycle and snow mobile riding. He loved spending time with his friends and would have you laughing in a short time. He always gave everyone a nickname.
He graduated from Elliott County High School and the Rowan County Vocational School where he trained to be a welder. He had a memory for numbers, never forgetting anything.
Dean loved little children and animals. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and listening to music. He also enjoyed watching westerns, especially his favorite Gunsmoke. Dean will be missed by his family and friends.
Visitation will be Friday, October 15, 2021 at 12:00 PM at Lewis & Ferguson Funeral Home at Sandy Hook, KY with funeral also being held Friday at 2:00 PM. Interment will be at Elliott County Memory Gardens.
