Eric R. "Ricky" Walker, 73, of Mesa, Arizona transitioned into eternal life on Monday, September 27, 2021 in Mesa, Arizona.

He was born in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, the son of the late Phyllis R. Crump and the late Robert Walker.

After completing his secondary education, Eric, lovingly known to his family as "Ricky," joined the U.S. Air Force and served his Country faithfully during the Vietnam War.

Later, he relocated to Mesa, Arizona and during his working career, he was an employee at HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center and most recently at Tempe St. Luke's Hospital.

In his leisure, Ricky was an avid runner - usually up and out the house by 04:00 AM running along the canal near his home.

He also enjoyed collecting camera equipment and photography. His recent hobby was a model train collection.

Ricky is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Eric R. Bynon and Tasha Bynon; his granddaughter: Sydney Bynon; his grandsons: Brandon and Donte Bynon, both of Harrisburg; his sister: Ellen Walker of Harrisburg; his nephew: Smith Walker of Harrisburg; his aunt: Evelyn Henderson of Millersville; his other relatives; and, his friends.

His Going Home Service will be held in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery on Friday, October 15, 2021 at 09:30 AM.
