Larry Cox, age 70 of Pineville, Kentucky passed away on Monday, October 11, 2021 at the Barbourville Health and Rehabilitation Center. He was born in Pineville on November 11, 1950, a son to the late Jim and Cretta Cox. Larry believed in the Baptist Faith. He had worked as a Security Guard at Pineville Community Hospital, as well as a Security Guard for Left Fork Mining Company for many years.
In addition to his parents, Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Cox; daughters, Lutricia Wood and Loretta Miracle; brothers, Birchel Cox, Hobert Cox, Jerry Cox, Johnny Cox, Lee Cox, Noble Ballou, and Paul Cox; Brother-in-law, James Caldwell; sister, Chanie Caldwell; and sister-in-law, Joyce Cox.
Larry is survived by his daughter, Katy Cox; son-in-law, Mike Miracle; grandchildren, Cody (Taylor) Cox, Brittany (Michael) Mayfield and Sherry (Scott) Gray; great-grandchildren, Nolan Mayfield, Kiersten Gray, and Kinslee Gray; brothers, Ed Fuson, Hubert Cox, and Walter Ballou; brother-in-law, Mike Sinsabaugh; sisters, Minnie Sinsabaugh, and Rosie Hoskins; sisters-in-law, Carol Miracle, Louise Ervin, Martha Cox, and Opal Goodin; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Arnett & Steele Funeral Home with Rev. James Polly presiding. Music will be provided by Rhonda White. Burial will follow at the Pinelawn Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers will be Cody Cox, Michael Mayfield, L. J. Payne, Josh Jarvis, Mike Miracle and Lonnie Allen Miracle.
