William "Bill" Quinn, age 72, of Spring Grove, passed away suddenly, October 8, 2021 at his home with his faithful canine by his side. He was born on November 26, 1948 in Birkenhead England to Joseph and Catherine (Ollerhead) Quinn. On December 5, 1979, he married the love of his life, Carol Hassall.

Together with Carol, they moved from England to the states shortly after their marriage in 1979 and settled in their first home in Lake Villa. In 1994, they moved to Spring Grove where together they built their home. Bill was a self-employed accomplished carpenter and the proud entrepreneur of Quinco Remodeling. He was extremely gifted and his skills in building most anything imaginable was unsurpassed. His home both inside and out was thoroughly impressive by what he was capable of building, including his deck which embraces a stocked fishpond and a beautiful garden. Between building and gardening projects, Bill loved to go for long car rides antiquing. He decorated his home with many of the wonderful treasures he purchased along the way. He enjoyed the outdoors especially splitting logs for his wood burning fire place burning many logs throughout the years until he finally converted to a gas fire. In his later years, Bill took delight in cooking mouthwatering, delectable dishes which often included shrimp. He thought shrimp should be included in everything. His Australian Cattle Dog companion, Spy was his motivational walking buddy who will miss him dearly. Bill was an extraordinary man; kind and generous, funny, a great story teller, who posed strong character, had boundless energy, and an endless capacity for love. He made friends easily; was so loved and will be forever missed.

William is survived by his devoted wife Carol; brother, Patrick (Barbara) Quinn; sister, Mary Terry; and many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
