Mrs. Helen J. Wade, age 96 of Chatsworth, passed away Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at her residence.
She was a member of New Life Baptist Church and a former member of Calvary Baptist Church of Dalton.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Wade; mother, Mrs. Katie F. Ellis; father, Waldo H. Ellis; sisters, Mrs. Marie Padget, Mrs. Catherine Cochran; brother, Mr. William E. Ellis.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Ellis Terlain (ET) and Karen Winter Wade of Chatsworth; daughters and sons-in-law, Marvine Albertson of Dalton, Francis and Chris Bowers of Chatsworth; grandchildren, Sharon and Donald Roberts, Lorie and Steve Harden, Chuck and Amanda Albertson, Jason and Tonya Bowers, Scott Bodie, Shana Bodie, Stephanie Albertson; Twenty-one great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren; family friends, Mellierose Schultz, and Scott McCarty;
Honorary pallbearers Jason Bowers, Chuck Albertson, Scott Boodie, Dylan Boodie, Greyson Roberts, Jeremy Hardin, Eli Hardin, and Kadee Roberts.
Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery at 11:00am with Rev. Rickey Spence and Rev. Alfred Turley officiating.
Meet at Smyrna Church at 10:30am to park at the church for the fellowship after the service.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Smyrna Baptist Church Cemetery or Gideons International Memorial Bible Fund.
