George Christian Cole — George Christian Cole, special clerk at the Syracuse postoffice 25 years, died yesterday at his home, 1307 First North st., after a short illness. He was a member of the Holy Name Society of St. John the Baptist Church and of the National Federation of Postoffice Clerks. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Cecelia Anderson Cole; two daughters, Cecelia and Jane Cole; his mother, Mrs. Barbara Cole, and a sister, Mrs. Charles Shumway. The funeral will take place at the home Wednesday at 8:30 o'clock and half to hour later in St. John's Church. Burial will be in Assumption cemetery.
