Michael Panczak
November 28, 1964 – March 2, 2021

Michael T. Panczak Sr., 56, of Palm Beach Gardens, was unexpectedly called home to be with the Lord on March 2, 2021.

He is survived by his dedicated wife of 22 years, Rhea; two sons, Michael Jr. and Sean; stepson, Steven, who he loved as his own and the daughter he never had, Nala; the family dog, who we think he may have loved more than us all; 4 siblings, Margaret Ann Kemp, William Jr., Stephen Sr., and James Sr.; 12 nieces and nephews and many additional members of a loving close-knit family.

Michael was a member of Christ Fellowship Church in Palm Beach Gardens. He attended Sacred Heart Catholic School, Lake Worth High School, and graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science. He was also a licensed Real Estate Broker and General Contractor. He served the citizens of Palm Beach Gardens with his knowledge of building and development for nearly twenty years as a member of the Planning and Zoning Commission board. An avid sports fan and youth athlete himself, Michael spent much of his family time devoted to the sport of baseball as a coach with the Palm Beach Gardens Youth Athletic Association. He took extreme pride in watching his boys perform on the field.

Michael was passionate about politics and religion, he also enjoyed playing golf and spending time on his boat. His competitive spirit was evident in every aspect of his life including his enjoyment of cooking shows, where he would quickly try to duplicate the top chef's recipes. He excelled at game show trivia and took great pleasure in challenging family members to try and beat him! He was a great dancer, had a surprisingly beautiful operatic voice and was known for being wildly inappropriate at times, a real charmer, he made friends wherever he went. His big personality, gregarious laugh and thunderous voice were only rivaled by his generous heart.

His family knew him as 'The Bull'. His strength and vitality will be greatly missed and joyfully remembered by all who knew him. We are reminded by Hellen Keller's words, "What we have once enjoyed we can never lose. All that we love deeply becomes a part of us."

A private celebration of life will be arranged for a future date.

A dedication memorial through The City of Palm Beach Gardens and PBGYAA will be forthcoming in Michael's honor for his years of service to the city that he loved so much.
