Lt is with a sad and heavy heart to announce that Bonnie M Hill (Barrett) had passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on September 22, 2021. Born on February 12, 1957 in Norwich NY, to Adrian and Christine Barrett. She grew up on a dairy farm in Pharsalia NY. Graduated from Cincinnatus Central School, Cincinnatus NY in 1975. Bonnie married Michael G Hill on October 2, 1976, they had two children. Bonnie was predeceased by her father Adrian on 8/19/2016, and her husband Michael on 5/15/2020. Bonnie is survived by her mother, Christine Barrett. Her children, Dana (Daysha) Hill and Amy Conway (Douglas) Dewey. Nine grandchildren, Heidi, Christopher, Anthony, Zachary, Mason, Kimberly, Taralyn, Taylor and Carter. One great granddaughter, Cataleya. Her siblings, Dorothy (Ron) Smith, Rose (Norm) Tracy and Michael Barrett. Several nieces, nephews and cousins. Mother in law, sister in law, brothers in law. Bonnie was a long time employee at CWS in Norwich NY, and was very fond of her work family. She attended SUNY Morrisville for 10 years part time, obtaining her A.S. degree in Business Administration while continuing to work full time at CWS to provide for her family. Bonnie worked for the Cincinnatus fire department as Secretary/Treasurer, as well as helping with the senior dinners at the South Otselic church. During her free time, Bonnie enjoyed spending time with her family, Golfing, Bowling, Photography, Bird Watching, Crafts and Budweiser. She even occasionally enjoyed fishing at the family pond. She also liked playing volleyball with her sister at the Cincinnatus school. Bonnie has left many heavy hearts. She was a bright light in a gloomy world, taken far too soon. Her bubbly personality, positive outlook on life, and infectious laugh will forever be imprinted in our hearts. Services will be held at Fahy's funeral home in Norwich NY on Saturday, October 16th from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.
