She was born in Buckhannon on December 14, 1977, a daughter of Harmond Wayne and Darlene Yvonne Groves Jordan.
Forever cherishing their memories of Brenda's honest nature along with her parents are her husband, Douglas Ray Harris; two children: Nathan Andrew Teter and Annabella Heaven Harris both of Ireland; three siblings: Darlene Annamae Wyne and husband, John, James Thomas Jordan and wife, Beth Ann, and Daniel Wayne Jordan; paternal grandmother, Virginia Pearl Jordan, all of Ireland; and several nieces, nephews, aunts and cousins.
Brenda is greeted at Heaven's Gates by her maternal grandparents: Diota and Mary Edna Curtis Groves; paternal grandfather, Harry Woodrow Jordan; one aunt, Delilah Groves; and one uncle, Robert Lee Langford-Groves.
She graduated from Lewis County High School in the class of 1995. A Christian by faith, Brenda was a member of the Ingo Community Church. She enjoyed the outdoors, kayaking and camping. As a homemaker, spending time with her children, nieces and nephews is where her heart could sing.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at Clutter Funeral Home-Alkire Chapel from 11:00 a.m.-1 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021. Funeral Services will begin at 1 p.m. in the Alkire Chapel with Pastor David Gillum officiating. Interment will follow at the Jordan Family Cemetery in Ireland.
