Peggy Anne (Yetter) Taylor, 79, of Orangeville, formerly of McVeytown, died at her home early Thursday morning, Sept. 30, 2021, after many years of battling Alzheimer's disease.

Born Oct. 17, 1941, in Newton Hamilton, Mifflin County, she was the only daughter of the late Charles F. and Laura (Stoner) Yetter. She was married to her husband, Robert W. "Bob" Taylor, for 59 years on Sept. 29. They had a daughter, Valerie A. Taylor, who preceded her in death on Aug. 20, 1996.

She was a 1959 graduate of Westville High School in Westville, Indiana. She had been employed by various companies over the years and had worked for Inland Container in Indianapolis and also for the Penn State Nutrition Service, where she taught cooking classes.

Peggy was a kind and generous person. She enjoyed being a homemaker and was well known for being a great cook. She also enjoyed playing card games and spending time with the family and friends.

Services will be held Saturday, Oct. 16, 2021, at 2 p.m. at the McMichael Funeral Home Inc., 4394 Red Rock Road, Benton (State Route 487) with Chaplain Mike Delp, officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Camp Victory, 58 Camp Victory Road, Millville, PA 17846.
