Karen Irene Herriman, age 76 of South Coffeyville, Oklahoma passed away on Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the Journey Home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma with her daughter by her side.

Karen was born on March 1, 1945, in Coffeyville, Kansas to Norman Dean and Helen (Richards) Warren. Her parents divorced but her mother, Helen raised Karen and her 4 siblings independently providing them with a warm and loving home. As a young girl, Karen found herself drawn to Lady Bugs and continued to enjoy their beauty. Another love as a young girl was playing jacks, she became quite good and could challenge the best of players. Karen attended school in Coffeyville, graduating from Field Kindley Memorial High School in 1963. After graduation Karen attended beauty school where she completed the course and received her cosmetology license. While in in beauty school she worked at the Southern Supper Club in the evening in South Coffeyville, that is where she became rather smitten with Ronald Herriman. The couple were later wed on October 17, 1970, after he had returned from serving in the US Navy. Ronnie preceded h--er in death unexpectedly, just eight weeks prior on August 27, 2021.

With overwhelming joy, Karen and Ronnie welcomed their daughter Cara into this world. She was their everything. As Cara grew into adulthood, she and Karen became best of friends and enjoyed all the girlie things together, especially having their nails done. One of Karen's greatest joys was spending time with her family and friends. She also enjoyed laughing and finding the sunshine even on challenging days, shopping, rummage sales, antique flea markets and always had her eye out for the perfect purse or piece of jewelry. Karen was a member of the Emmanual Chapel in South Coffeyville where she and Ronnie were very active up until just recent as their health declined.

Wonderful and cherished memories will comfort her daughter, Cara Haws, and her husband Kris; siblings, Cheryl Waren, Kim Pasquale (Mike); sisters-in-law's, Patty Herriman, and Lee Ann Herriman, and Kay Kimball; brother-in-law, Vic Herriman; her only first cousin, Larry Bolen; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, Richard Dean Warren, Jerry Warren, David Warren; aunt, Irene Bolen.
