He was retired from Mississippi Power Company and owned Mike Sewell A/C Appliance Repair. Michael worked in Iraq for three years installing and repairing washers, dryers, and air conditioning for our soldiers.
Mike was a hardworking and good-hearted man who would help family and friends, including strangers in need. He also always had a joke to tell you!!
He was preceded in death by his parents, Feldon and Willa Mae Sewell; and his son, Rodney Lamont Sewell.
Mike is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mitzi Baxter Sewell. He will be missed dearly.
A visitation will be held from 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 20, 2021, at Riemann Family Funeral Home, 11280 Three Rivers Road, Gulfport, until the funeral at 2:00 PM.
Interment will follow at Floral Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Gulfport.
