He was born July 29, 1953, in Los Angeles, the son of Robert O. and Evern Arlene Krueger Casey.
Mr. Casey served in the U.S. Army and U.S. Navy. He was a registered nurse. He was a member of Westfield Christian Church in Porterville, Calif., and the Thousand Trials Organization.
He married Karen Casey on March 25, 1985, in Reno, Nev. She survives, of Lawrence.
Other survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Casey, California; a stepson, David Fought, California; two brothers, David, Florida, and Michael, California.
