Seabrook – Larry N. Fowler, 88, of Seabrook, died Saturday, September 18, 2021 at Port Healthcare Center in Newburyport, MA. A lifelong Seabrook resident, he was born here, May 14, 1933 the seventh child of the late Vivian and Althea B. (Janvrin) Fowler.
Mr. Fowler was employed for 28 years with the US Postal Service at the Seabrook Post Office retiring in 1988. He was a veteran of the Korean War serving as a Corporal with the US Army.
He was an active member of the Rand Memorial Church, served as a deacon and trustee and choir member leading the Sunday evening hymn sing for many years. He was a life member of the Raymond E. Walton American Legion Post 70.
Family members include two grandchildren, Shane Small of Seabrook, and David Souther of Epping, six great-grandchildren, Haley, Andrew, David Jr., Madelyn and their mother Angela; William, and Logan, and their mother Patricia. Mr. Fowler also left behind nephews Ben Merrill and Herbert Fowler, several great-nieces, great-nephews and many, many friends including long time caregiver Dana Knowles. Mr. Fowler was predeceased by his six siblings.
There will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held Thursday October 14, 2021 at 11:00 am at the Rand Memorial Church, Seabrook, followed by a graveside service with military honors in the Wildwood Cemetery, Seabrook; concluding with a luncheon at the Rand Memorial Church hall. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited. If desired, donations may be made to the Rand Memorial Church, 134 South Main Street, Seabrook, NH 03874.
