Jerry Dee Clark, 59 of Morehead, Kentucky passed away Monday morning at his home after an extended illness. He was born June 30, 1962 in Morehead to the late Franklin Delano and Rena Stevens Clark.

Jerry was a graduate of Rowan County Senior High School and attended Morehead State University. He had coached all ages in baseball, football and basketball. He also coached in the Youth Football program. He was a retired salesman for C & C Meats and G & W Wholesale. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, sports, especially University of Kentucky football and basketball. He adored his sons and grandchildren and loved spending time with them.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two sisters, Tamma Gilley and Cynthia Newman. Also his father-in-law Jimmy Caskey.

Survivors include his loving wife Terri Caskey Clark, three sons, Franklin James Clark and his wife Racheal of Morehead, Jesse Dee Clark and his fiancee Destiny Oakley of West Liberty, Kentucky and Trevor Allen Clark of Morehead. One brother Franklin Clark and his wife Diane and one sister Charlotte Caudill all of Morehead. His mother-in-law, Phyllis Caskey of Morehead. Eight grandchildren, Joslyn, Kennedy, Easton, Lakota, Maverick, Cage Spencer, Walker and Emery. A grandson expected anytime, Waylon. Also, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted 7:00 pm Thursday evening, October 14, 2021 in the chapel of the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead with Rev. Mark Caldwell officiating.

Private burial will be conducted later.

Visitation at the Michael R. Gray Funeral Home in Morehead is from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm Thursday.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help offset funeral expenses.
